Location & Access

Mutiara Taman Negara is the only resort situated inside Taman Negara National Park, offering direct access to jungle trails from the chalet doorstep. Guests arrive by a 1 RMB boat ride across the Tembeling River from Kuala Tahan jetty, with luggage transported by buggy to the room. The resort provides a shuttle service to nearby attractions such as the world's longest suspended canopy walkway and the Kelah Sanctuary fish conservation area.

Accommodation

The resort offers private chalets overlooking the Tembeling River or rainforest, each with air conditioning, private bathroom with hot shower, and a balcony. Select chalets include living and dining areas and a kitchenette, while all rooms feature tiled or wooden flooring and natural timber construction. Family chalets accommodate up to four guests with two double beds and two single beds, providing space for groups exploring the park.

Dining

Seri Mutiara Restaurant serves buffet meals featuring Malaysian delicacies and international favourites, with a la carte options available for lunch and dinner. The Cricket Bar offers light snacks and refreshing beverages, while the snack bar and wine/champagne list provide additional choices throughout the day. Guests can also order packed lunches from the restaurant to take on day trips into the rainforest.

Activities & Tours

The resort's tour desk arranges jungle trekking, canopy walks, mountain climbing, caving, and visits to Orang Asli (local native) settlements. Night walks and river cruises are available, with experienced guides leading groups through the forest to spot wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and insects. Water activities include fishing and water sport facilities on site, plus rapid shooting boat rides on the Tembeling River.
